Sands of Islamorada is a family-owned, oceanfront hotel located in the Florida Keys. The property was built in 1990 and passed under the administration of the Valdes Almodovar family more than a decade ago.
Valdes Almodovar is a Cuban family with more than 30 years in the United States. They have over 14 years of experience running tourist properties in all of Florida State. This family of four is passionate about water sports, boats, bikes, kayaks, and fishing. After years of enjoying the Keys as visitors and then as locals, they finally took the administration of Sands of Islamorada as a great opportunity to share with others their love for all the natural wonders of the area.
Personalized attention and customer satisfaction are their guiding principles. Therefore, they devote themselves to their visitors to indulge them and make their stay memorable.
